I googled for this region and I was amazed! I would be tempted but isn't it very difficult for somebody who does not speak Chinese to go by himself/herself? I heard it is difficult to buy train tickets and board the trains in China because of the tremendous number of travelers. Is it true? Is it very difficult? There are no agencies which could solve this problem only, like a ticketing agency?
About trains it depends on wich one you use. Fast trains are fine, but local trains are more than overcrowded and nobody speaks english. I think you can find english speaking agencies with this destination.
