Roma - Trinita dei monti

Mar. 2012

During our stay in Roma, we slept in a christian place. The church is called "trinita dei monti" and is on the top of a hill. The rooms where people sleep are next to the church. This is not a real hotel : they just provide a room with separate beds, even for couples. As we can't enter there before 15:00 and shall not disturb the private school and its kids, we just entered in the church, sat down to have some rest away from the burning sun. I'm not that much involved into the christianship, but that was cheaper and that was an experiment (I'd enjoy sleeping in buddhist temple, actually). A young choir just finished singing at that moment. I don't know wether they were rehearsing or juts having a concert. Here are pictures I've shot inside the church before we join our room and drop our suitcases.
Voici quelques photo prises durant l'attente.

  2. We were really impressed with this church and also wrote an article about it when we were in Rome. Here is the link if you would like to see it.

  3. Hi,
Beautiful windows. If the curtains are high place how they open and close them, I wonder?
I think you enjoyed your stay at the church. There are many temples we can stay in Japan as you write. When we were child teachers took us to those temples for a camping school. We enjoyed a large tatami room.
    Have a nice day!
