Originally a temple for the local divinities built about 2000 years ago, it was later used as a church, but the original architecture remains pretty much the same as the original one. This is why, as a church, the circular shape is unusual. This one of the best preserved roman buildlings.
A l'origine un temple dédié aux divinités locales construit il y a environ 2000 ans, il fut ensuite transformé en église bien que l'architecture d'origine ait été conservée. C'est pourquoi, en tant qu'église, on découvre cette forme circulaire inhabituelle. Il s'agit de l'un des édifices romains les mieux préservés.
