Japan : Kyoto train station

Strangely, the train station in Kyoto is one of the biggest buildlings of the city. From its top, you can see most of the roofs of other buildlings. It has almost 10 floors and a lot of useless space. When I took this picture, there was gospel music concert going on.

I just realized i already posted this picture one year ago, but hadn't mentionned the concert.

Bizarrement, cette gare à Kyoto est l'un des plus gros bâtiments de la ville. De son sommet, on peut apercevoir la plupart des toîts des autres immeubles. Il y a environ 10 étages et beaucoup d'espaces inutilisés. Lorsque j'ai pris cette photo, un concert de gospel était en cours.

Je viens juste de me rendre compte que j'ai déjà posté cette photo il y un an, mais sans parler du concert.

Those two pictures were shot inside Kyoto train station, in wich a gospel concert was held on the 8th floor. I still didn't meet anyone able to tell me what such a huge building is usefull for.

Ces deux photos ont été prises à l'intérieur de la gare de Kyoto, dans laquelle un concert de gospel était organisé au huitième étage. Je n'ai encore trouvé personne capable de me dire quelle est l'utilité d'un bâtiment aussi gigantesque.
