Here are 2002's winners. This time they don't perform their choregraphy while walking down the street, but on stage.

Voici les vainqueurs de 2002. Cette fois-ci il ne réalisent pas leur chorégraphie en descendant la rue, mais sur la scène.

Harajuku Omotesandou yosakoi festival

I was walking there and there in Harajuku without knowing this event was held. The yosakoi is a carnival made in a japanese style. Each group got his own choregraphy, music and truck. They repeat their choregraphy all along the street. In the end a jury decides who wins and the winners will come back on a stage set in the Yoyogi garden.

Je marchais ça et là dans le quartier Harajuku sans savoir que ceci avait lieu. Le yosakoi est un carnaval à la japonaise. Chaque groupe a sa chorégraphie, sa musique, son char. Il la répète tout au long de la rue. A la fin un jury décide du vainqueur qui reviendra sur un scène établie dans le parc Yoyogi.
