Top of Xuankongsi

Oct 2009
This is the highest point of this temple, and the most difficult one to walk on, for who suffers from vertigo. The path is very narrow where I stand, and nothing higher than my knee separates me from falling down... 80 m. There and there are small holes welcoming small statues of Buddha, Confucius or Tao, all standing together.

  1. What an experience this must have been. You have inspired me to dig up my photos from our adventure in Jordan.
