China/Tibet 2013-099-Shigatse - Tashilhunpo monastery

Shigatse is one of the biggest cities in Tibet. It also hosts one of the main monasteries, where Panchen-lamas (not to be mistaken with Dalai-lamas) come from. Panchen and Dalai lamas are a sensitive topic in Tibet, and I advice travellers not to talk too much about it unless tibetans start doing so.
Shigatse est l'une des plus grandes villes du Tibet. On y trouve également l'un des monastères les plus importants d'où sont issus les Panchen-Lama (à ne pas confondre avec le Dalai-lamas). Panchen et Dalai lamas sont un sujet sensible au Tibet et je conseille aux voyageurs de ne pas aborder le sujet à moins que les tibétains ne le fassent eux-mêmes.

Those young monks don't seem to be caring any seconds the hundreds of turists shooting picture of them, and I think the'yre right to do it. After a last look, we start walking away.
Ces jeunes moins ne semblent pas se préoccuper des centaines de touristes les prenant en photo, et je pense qu'ils ont raison. Après un dernier oup d'oeil, nous nous dirigeons vers la sortie du monastère.
