June / Juin 2009When I first travelled to China and visited Beijing, I booked a guide for 1 or 2 days to help to discover the area. I remind, before introducing me to the one who is going to be my wife in a few months, she used to explain a lot of symbols of luck everywhere. For exemple, what you can see on the picture stands for a turtle. The island stands for the body. The bridge for the neck. And the head is a small pavillion you cannot see on this picture. You will find this in the Summer Palace, in Beijing.
Quand j'ai voyagé en Chine pour la première fois t visité Pekin, j'ai recruté un guide par internet pour faciliter me découverte de la ville. Je me souviens que, avant de me présenter à celle qui va devenir am femme dans quelques mois, elle avait l'habitude de nous expliquer de nombreux symboles de chance présents partout. Par exemple sur cette photo vous voyez une tortue. L'île est la carapace. Le pont est le cou. Et la tête est représentée par un pavillon à gauche de cette photo, caché derrière les branches.
Its amazing how people see images differently, nice shot, I wish the head was there, I mean that structure that makes of the head in this shot.
