Mexican food - Cactus

This is another of the local food wich may feel strange for many other people around the world. They call it nopal. Imagine the have it in field like we have corn or wheat. It can be used with dressing as a salada, or grilled on a barbecue, or cooked as a soup. Contrary to the dried grasshopers, I like this food.
C'est une autre des nourritures locales qui pourrait paraitre bizarre à beaucoup de monde. Ca se nomme nopal. Ils en cultivent en champs comme d'autres ont le maïs ou le blé. On peut le consommer en salade, grillé au barbecue, ou bien en soupe. Au contraire des criquets séchés, j'ai aimé ça.

Mexican food = dried grasshopers

For some people, that's really not a common food. I didn't like it for two reasons. First : those dried grasshopers taste like celery, and I hate celery. Second : after eating, you got their legs caught between your teeth.

Pour certaines personnes, ce n'est vraiment pas une nourriture commune. Je n'ai pas aimé les criquets séchés pour deux raisons. premièrement, ceux-là avaient un goût de céleri, et je déteste le céleri. Deuxièmement, leurs pattes et antennes restent coincées pendant des heures entre les dents.
