Turku is the former capital of Finland. This cathedral is then the mother church of the lutheran church in Finland, and the country's national shrine. Some important people from Finland are buried there.

China - Tianjin last sights

My stay in Tianjin lasted for only 2 days. On those pictures, you can see chinese people playing on memories from the world war, the new cathedral, the former cathedral, and finally a church.

157m high, and the second highest in germany as well as the second highest one in the world. I didn't have a wide angle lense at that time, and didn't have any chance to walk back enough to have it at once on a picture. this cathedral is among the most famous ones in Europe.

157m de haut, et la deuxième plus haute en Allemagne, de même que le deuxième plus haut du monde. Je n'avais aps de grand angle à cette époque et n'ai jamais eu la possibilité de reculer assez pour l'avoir entière sur une photo. Cette cathédrale fait partie des plus célèbres d'Europe.

England - Portsmouth

I've been very busy over the last days, and didn't post anything for a while, so here is a big set of pictures about Portsmouth, in the United Kingdom, more precisely in England, where I traveled in total 9 times over 2 years. The reason was simple : the one who's is now my wife and was back then only my girlfriend was a student there.

You can see pictures of the historic dockyards, the Spinnaker tower, the Royal Garrison church, the local seaside, Victoria park, Guildhall, King Henry I street, st Thomas cathedral.

Je me suis trouév très occuppé ces derniers temps, sans avoir le temps de poster quoi que ce soit. Donc voici une grosse série de photos sur Portsmouth, au Royaume-Uni, et plus précisément en Angleterre, où je me suis rendu à 9 reprises en 2 ans. La raison en était simple : celle qui est aujourd'hui moné pouse et n'était à l'époque qu'une copine était étudiante là-bas.

Like the Roskilde cathedral in Denmark, princes and lords of Monaco have been burried here for several centuries. I'd have loved to visit inside and share it with you, but traffic jams made me waste hours and it was already closed when I finally made it there.

Tout comme la cathédrale de Roskilde, au Danemark, les princes et seigneurs de Monaco sont inhumés ici. J'aurais adoré visiter l'intérieur, mais les embouteillages m'ont fait perdre des heures et c'était déjà fermé quand je suis finalement arrivé ici.

Roskilde cathedral is also, in some ways, the royal cemetary. Kings and queens have been buried here for about a thousand years.
