This picture was shot in Lijiang, China, at the Black Dragon pond. My guide book explained that this pond got such a name because of black grass growing under the water. Can you see how black it is?

Well, it was quite cloudy and cold (cold enough to get me a flu in July !) but the water there is really that dark. I doubt people can see any monster through such waters.

Il faisait plutôt froid et nuageux (suffisement froid pour que j'atrappe une grippe en Juillet!) mais l'eau là-bas et réellement aussi sombre. Je doute que quiconque puisse voir un monstre au travers de telles eaux.
